BiographyMelvin Moore's name is a familiar one in the clubs of New York. Twilo, Roxy, Filter 14, Shelter, Vinyl and Centrofly include some of Melvin's New York appearances. As a respected DJ, he has headlined alongside many of house's biggest names including: Erick Morillo, Todd Terry, Seb Fontaine, Darren Emerson, Mr.C, Roger S. Tony Humphries, Doc Martin, Danny Tenaglia, Derrick Carter, Larry Levan and the list goes on and on. Melvin’s popularity extends well outside of New York, he has packed clubs stateside including all three Crobar clubs, Chicago, Miami and New York, Nikki Beach club and Warsaw in Miami. He has also lit up the international dance floor at clubs such as Pacha and Space Terrace in Ibiza, Ministry of Sound, Egg and Heaven in London, Angels of Love and Prince in Italy, Amnesia in Paris, Vibe, Kimik and Paradisco in Brasil, Family and Home in Australia in addition to many other amazing clubs all over the planet. As former resident DJ at NYC's Subliminal Sessions parties with Erick Morillo, Melvin is no stranger to success. His talents also include being former head of A&R for Subliminal Records where he was responsible for overseeing the distinct sound of each of its four labels: Subliminal, Sondos, Subliminal Soul and Subusa. Melvin is not only an internationally known DJ, he is also a phenomenal producer. He has produced dynamic tracks with Cevin Fisher ("Come Home" on Velocity Records) and also with Jovonn ("I'm a Lover" on Kult Records). In March of 2000, Melvin produced "The Rhythm" for Metafor Recordings on the Deep Textures Volume One EP. Most recently Melvin has reworked and remixed Bob Sinclar's "Ich Rocke", Solid Grooves' "Ask Mr." and Junior Jack vs. Kid Creme's mix of "Insatiable".
